How the forest works

How it works

Every coin launched on Mycelium is a pump.fun coin whose creator is the coin's own account in our program (the tree). Pump pays the creator fee to that account, on the curve and after migration to PumpSwap. Anyone can press collect: the program splits every lamport by constants that no one can change:

  • 40% to the grove, one shared pool for the whole forest;
  • 48% to the coin's dev, held in the tree until anyone presses claim; it can only go to the dev;
  • 10% to the mother tree: it buys the pad token and burns it;
  • 2% to the treasury.

With one coin, the grove is that coin's own reserve for a bad day. With a hundred, it is a forest where the strong hold up the weak.

When a tree is fed

A tree is fed when it is alive and in trouble. The program checks on chain:

  • the price (a median of three checks) is 30% or more under its 24 hour peak; the peak is the highest hourly floor that held across a real hour, and the drop must hold for 15 minutes;
  • 24 hour volume of 25 SOL or more, read from the creator fees the coin paid;
  • its dev wallet did not sell in the last 24 hours.

The attestor adds one signed fact: the coin has 50 or more living holders, counted as the smallest balance each wallet held over hours, so a flash of wallets does not count. Then anyone can open a feed. Its budget is the smallest of: 10% of the free grove, what the coin has given the grove x1.25 minus what it was already fed, and 20 SOL.

The budget is spent over 2 hours in 12 small chunks. Each chunk buys at a checked price, no bigger than a slice of the pool's depth, and burns every token it bought. If the price climbs back over the ceiling, the feed stops early and the rest goes back to the grove. One feed per coin per 24 hours.

Nothing is lent and nothing comes back: the grove buys the coin and burns it.

Numbers

Live values from the program's config. New values need a 24 hour timelock and apply to new coins only (the volume line is read live).

Trust

  • The attestor picks WHO is alive (holders, dev clean), never HOW MUCH. A stolen attestor key can only make a coin eligible that also passes the on-chain drawdown, volume and dev checks: at most one feed per coin per cooldown, inside the caps, spent as buy-and-burn. Nobody receives SOL.
  • The guardian can only revoke the attestor, at once.
  • The admin can pause new coins and new feeds, change future numbers (24 hours), rotate roles (3 days) and set the pad token once (24 hours, then frozen). Nobody can move the grove or the mother bucket anywhere else.
  • Platform risk: pump.fun could move a coin's creator away from the tree; the fee would stop arriving, nothing booked is lost. The program is upgradeable until it is frozen.
